The music I create with others is a sacred offering. Through sound, song, movement and breath we seek to express and embody love and devotion, weaving harmonies and rhythms that open the heart and uplift the soul. Each note is an invitation to remember, to return, to reconnect with the infinite presence that moves through all things.
But music is not just a one-way prayer — it is also a mirror, reflecting the divine in each person we encounter. When we sing, we do more than create sound; we create connection. When our voices rise together, something extraordinary happens: the illusion of separation dissolves, and we stand in the presence of something greater than ourselves.
A Multi-disciplinary Artist :
Celebrating community and nature through soulful songs, soothing sounds and other contemplative practices is what continues to motivate Lucas Julian Tensen as a musician, songwriter, instrument maker and facilitator. He currently lives in London Ontario, also known as the Forest City.
Luc plays cello, shakuhachi flute, kora, handpan, guitar, ukulele, and keyboard. Travels have taken him to Saint-Louis, Senegal to learn the 21 string kora, a West African harp. He facilitates gatherings, concerts and workshops where participants explore a variety of sonic rituals interspersed with transformative meditations, invocations and blessings.
